On the crest of the S-facing slope of a hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39.9m NNE-SSW; 38.5m WNW-ENE) defined by a poached earthen bank (Wth 5-5.5m; int. H 0.35-0.55m; ext. H 1.6-1.8m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 7-7.6m; Wth of base 2-3m; ext. D 1.2m) from an outer bank (Wth 3-3.3m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m) which survives intermittently SSW-W-NE (max. ext. diam. 57.7m NNE-SSW). The entrance (Wth 3.4m) and causeway (Wth 4.6m) are at SSE.
