Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and described as a pound on the 1837 ed. Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in an undulating landscape. An arc of drystone wall survives E-S-W (diam. c. 25m E-W) with a rockery in the curve of what was an animal pound.
