On the crest of a slight NW-SE spur. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 36m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.5-5.2m; int. H 0.45-0.65m; ext. H 1.1-1.9m), which is incorporated into a field bank with stone facing SE-WSW. There is an intermittently visible fosse (at N: Wth of top 6.6m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 1.8m) and traces of an outer bank (at N: Wth 5m; ext. H 0.2m). There is no identifiable original entrance, but the perimeter is quarried N-NNE and at SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
