At the crest of the S-facing slope of a hill with limestone outcrop. Subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims 27.75m N-S; 24.8m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.65-0.9m; ext. H 0.65-1.15m) with inner and outer facing-stones visible throughout (Wth of wall 1.7-2m), except SW-WNW. The stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.9m) at SE is now blocked, while a gap at SSW is modern. The rath (RO045-094----) is c. 180m to the E.
