Towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Subcircular area (dims. 27m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (at SE: Wth 5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.4m) ENE-S and a slight scarp or a low broad rise elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO045-086----) is c. 200m to the ENE and rath (RO045-227----) is c. 180m to the S.
