What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope. A damaged limestone stoup (diam. c. 0.35m) with a carved head on one side (Siggins 1990, 46-7), which probably came from Rahara church (RO045-077001-) c. 1km to S, but which was kept at the holy well (RO045-075001-), is now in the Roscommon County Museum. The head is one of an original three that would have represented the Holy Trinity (Siggins 2016). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
