Marked on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map and described in italic lettering on both as 'Toberlargan'. Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Described as a stone-lined well with the slight foundations of a stone structure (RO045-075003-) nearby (Gannon 1972), it is now a water-filled depression with one lintel stone in position and surrounded by loose stones. A damaged limestone stoup (diam. c. 0.35m) with a carved head on one side (Siggins 1990, 46-7), which probably came from Rahara church (RO-045-077001-) c. 800m to SSW but which was kept here, is now in Roscommon County Museum. The head is one of an original three that would have represented the Holy Trinity (Siggins 2016).
