What is recorded here

Towards the top of a S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (int. dims 38.4m NNW-SSE; 37.4m ENE-WSW) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-3.6m; H 0.6-0.8m) with intermittently visible facing-stones (original Wth 1.5m at NW to 2.1m at E). There is an entrance (Wth 2.6m) at SE and the interior is overlain by grass-covered field walls and grass-covered spoil mounds. Cashel (RO045-063----) is c. 120m to the WSW and cashel (RO045-066----) is c. 30m to the S. See the attached aerial view taken from the NE Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
