On a gentle SW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 43.8m NE-SW; 37.7m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NE: Wth 7.4m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.3m) with inner facing-stones at SW separated by a fosse (at NE: Wth of top 6.3m; Wth of base 2.1m; ext. D 1.6m), which is backfilled ENE-ESE and scarcely visible SSW-WSW, from an outer bank (at NE: Wth 4.6m; ext. H 0.3m) NW-E-SSW. The entrance (Wth 4.5m) and causeway (Wth 5.2m) are at SE. There is a grass-covered wall foundation (L 8m N-S) in the SW quadrant.
