In low-lying pasture near the former W-shore of Lough Croan (a turlough) in an area still liable to occasional flood. Reported by Jean-Charles Caillere. Visible on Google Earth aerial imagery (16-3-2011) as a circular enclosure (est. diam. c. 20m) defined by a fosse (est. Wth c. 2-3m). A crannog (RO044-094----) lies c. 110m to the SE.
