At the crest of the NE-facing slope of a SE-NW spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 51.5m NE-SW; 47.2m NW-SE) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4-7m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1.7-2m) with some bushes and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.4-6.8m; Wth of base 2-3.2m; D 0.4-0.9m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.3m) and causeway at SSE. An outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.2m) SW-N-E departs from the outer edge of the fosse at E to join the outer bank of rath (RO044-082003-) which is 5m to the SE. There is a quarry (dims 18m NW-SE; 13m NE-SW; D 1.4m) outside the fosse at SW (max. ext. dims 66m NE-SW; 59m NW-SE).
