What is recorded here

Towards the bottom of a N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 56m E-W; 55m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earth and stone bank (Wth of base 4.5-7m; Wth of top 1-2m; int. H 0.9-1.15m; ext. H 1.7-2.5m) and hedge, and a rounded fosse surviving NNE-SE (Wth of top 7m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.8m) and SW-NW (Wth of top 7m; Wth of base 3.5m; D 0.25m). There is a house platform (RO044-081002-) (dims 8.5m E-W; 5.5m N-S; H 0.3m) at the centre and another (RO044-081003-) (dims 6.4m NE-SW; 4.4m NW-SE) defined by a fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.2m) inside the perimeter at SE.
