On a gentle S-facing slope in a fold with sligthly higher ground to the NW and E. Subcircular scrub-covered platform (dims of top 12.7m E-W; 9.4m N-S; dims of base 16.8m E-W; 15m N-S) defined by a low bank (Wth 2.5-5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.6-0.9m) and hedge NW-NE and at S, and by a scarp at E (H 1.3m) and W (H 0.6m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but field banks in the vicinity, except an E-W one 5m to the N, have been removed. Ring-barrow (RO042-076----) is c. 195m to the NNE.
