On a rise in a fold with slightly higher ground to the NW and E. Described as a low mound (diam. c. 13m) surrounded by a slight fosse and outer bank (Gannon 1972). It is now a circular scrub-covered platform (diam. 19.2m N-S; 18.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.4-4.5m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.55-1.35m) with no visible fosse. The perimeter is slightly truncated by a N-S road bank at E (max. ext. diam. 25m N-S). Ring-barrow (RO044-077----) is c. 195m to the SSW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
