On a gentle SW-facing slope overlooking Lough Croan, the N shore of which is c. 100m distant. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 35.7m N-S; 35.4m E-W) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 3.5-5.8m; int. H 0.4-0.5m; ext. H 1.5-2.2m) SW-W-NE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO044-067----) is c. 100m to the NE.
