At the W edge of a low plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 36.5m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6.3-7.5m; int. H 0.35-1m; ext. H 1.2-1.8m) with some bushes, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.5-6.7m; Wth of base c. 1m; D 0.25m) NNE-S-NW. The entrance (Wth 2m) and causeway are at SW. The bank is overlain by a field wall SW-WNW and the fosse is best preserved here.
