Towards the top of the W-facing slope of SE-NW spur. Subrectangular grass-covered area (dims 33.5m E-W; 27.6m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-3.8m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 0.4m at E to 0.7-0.9m generally) and hedge which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) at W. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but field banks in the vicinity have been removed. Rath (RO044-040----) is c. 190m to the NE.
