On the gentle NE-facing slope of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 47m E-W; 45m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4-4.8m; int. H 0.25-0.5m; ext. H 1.3-1.7m) and hedge which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.05m) NE-S-SW, with a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.3-7m; Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.4-0.8m) S-SE. There is an entrance (Wth c. 2m) and causeway (Wth 6m) at NE.
