On the crest of a broad, low NW-SE ridge. Subcircular grass-covered but poached area (dims 41.5m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5-7.8m; int. H 0.8-1m; ext. H 0.65-1.65m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.6m) NNW-N. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance but there is a gap (Wth 7m) at S with a stock pen adjacent outside. A farm track bisected the monument NW-SE (Gannon 1972) which is now replaced with a new N-S track adjacent to the perimeter at E, and the location is circumscribed by a field bank S-W.
