What is recorded here

On a slight rise on a SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m N-S; 31.6m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.3-4m; int. H 0.25-0.5m; ext. H 0.8-1m), with a rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.3-4.8m; Wth of base 1.4-2.5m; D 0.05-0.15m) NE-S. There is a causeway (Wth 3.5m) at ESE. The monument is overlain by an NE-SW field wall NW of the centre and the perimeter is reduced to a low scarp (H 0.1m) NW of this. Rath (RO044-028----) is c. 170m to the SW.
