What is recorded here

At the bottom of a SW-facing slope with poorly drained ground to the S and W. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 37.6m NE-SW; 36.8m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 3-5m; int. H 0.1-0.7m; ext. H 1.3-1.8m) and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 3.6m at SW to 5.2-6.3m generally; Wth of base 1.2-3m; D 0.3-0.45m SE-SW to 1.1-1.3m NW-NE). There is an entrance (Wth 6m) and causeway at ENE. A NW-SE field bank abuts the fosse at W and S, and a NW-SE field bank is c. 5m to the NE. Fulacha fia (RO044-119----; RO044-120----) are c. 140m to the NW and c. 90m to the NNW respectively, and fulachta fia (RO044-121001-; RO044-121002-) are c. 35m to the S.
