On the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.2m NE-SW; 32m NW-SE) defined by a gapped earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 3.5-4.8m; int. H 0.45-0.8m; ext. H 1.1-1.3m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance but the perimeter is truncated slightly at W by a NNE-SSW field wall. Rath (RO044-015----) is c. 70m to the WNW.
