Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 20m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as pits on the 1915 ed. It is situated at the SE end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. A slight trace of a curved bank survived at NW (Gannon 1972) which is no longer visible at ground level in pasture.
