On the SW-facing slope of a hill. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 48.4m NE-SW; 42m NW-SE) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 5.4-6.6m; int. H 0.6-0.8m; ext. H 1.1-2.4m) which is incorporated into a field bank with external stone facing NW-ENE, and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.2-5.7m; Wth of base 1.2-1.8m; ext. D 0.6m-1.1m) which is partly backfilled. There is an entrance (Wth 2.5m) at SSW. Rath (RO9042-109----) is c. 105m to the ENE and there is an active quarry immediately to the N.
