What is recorded here

On the crest of a NW-SE ridge overlooking a NW-SE valley to the SW. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.2m NNE-SSW; 31.7m WNW-ESE) defined by an earth and stone bank (at NNE: Wth 4.7m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.8m) which is largely reduced to a scarp (at SSW: H 2m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but this monument it is overlain by a NW-SE field wall towards the perimeter at NE and the monument itself overlies the S portion of cashel (RO042-094002-). Rath (RO042-095----) is c. 155m to the E. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
