What is recorded here

On a NE-facing slope in a col with hills c. 2.5km to the NNW and c. 600m to the W, and at the head of a SE-NW valley. Oval scrub-covered area (dims 37.6m NNW-SSE; 30.3m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank with bushes and scrub (Wth 3.6-5m; int. H 0.75-1.2m; ext. H 2.15-2.4m) and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.4-7m; Wth of base 1.7-3.3m; D 0.65-1m), with an outer bank (at NNW: Wth 4m; ext. H 0.8m) NW-ESE. The entrance (Wth 1.4m) and causeway are at ENE.
