On a slight SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.9m NE-SW; 34.7m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.4-4.9m; int. H 0.5-1.3m; ext. H 1.45-2.05m) planted with deciduous trees, which is incorporated in a field bank ESE-S-WNW, and a fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.35m at SE to1m at NW) which is best preserved NW-NE. The entrance (Wth 2.4m) and causeway (Wth 3.8m) are at E. Rath (RO042-042----) is c. 105m to the NW.
