What is recorded here

Visible as a circular feature (diam. c. 30m) on aerial photograph (GSIAP: M 153-4), and situated towards the bottom of a NE-facing slope of Moydow Hill. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 32.7m NW-SE; ext. diam. 36.4m NW-SE) defined by a grass-covered stone spread with inner and outer facing-stones visible (original Wth 1.7-1.9m; H up to 0.85m) WNW-E-S. The perimeter does not survive elsewhere and there is no identifiable original entrance, but there is a house site (RO042-019002-) (ext. dims 10.3m N-S; 10.3m) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone spread, with an entrance at the SE corner just outside the cashel at NW.
