On a gentle N-facing slope on the flood-plain of the W-E Hind River, c. 200m to the N. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 30-35m) defined by an earthen bank (at ESE: Wth 6.2m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.95m), which is incorporated into a field bank SSW-N and overlain by traces of a stone wall at SE, and a flat-bottomed fosse (at ESE: Wth of top 5.5m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.9m). The entrance (Wth 3.2m) and causeway are at SE.
