On a S-facing slope of Skrine Hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.8m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.8-4.5m; int. H 0.05-0.35m; ext. H 0.65-1.1m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.8-6.9m; Wth of base 2.1-2.4m; D 0.45-1m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.2-5.4m; ext. H 0.45-1.25m). The inner bank is quarried E-SE and there is a causeway (Wth 2.5m) at SE (max. ext. diam. 61.3m E-W; 57.6m N-S). The foundations of a house (RO041-083002-) (int. dims 6.8m E-W; 3m N-S) defined by an earth and stone wall (Wth 0.8-1.1m; H 0.1-0.4m) and with an entrance (Wth 0.9m) towards the W end of the S wall are just E of the centre. Rath (RO041-084001-) is c. 200m to the ESE.
