Towards the bottom of a gentle W-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.5m E-W; c. 44m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3-5.1m; int. H 0.25-0.7m; ext. H 0.6-0.9m), which has been quarried away NW-N. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The rath is at the S end of an enclosure (RO041-082002-) (dims c. 150m N-S; c. 130m E-W) defined by a fosse or track feature that is visible on the OSI aerial images (2000), but this is a modern feature.
