On the E bank of a NE-SW section of the River Suck, at a point where the river turns W and c. 200m distant from it. There are fragments of old field banks (Wth c. 2m; H 0.2-0.4m) covering about 12 ha (c. 30 acres) to the N and E of the walled garden (RO041-048014-), including an E-W roadway (RO041-048009-) defined by earthen banks and outer ditches but no house sites were recognized. The earthworks are interrupted in places by old grass-covered quarries.
