Visible as a feature on aerial photographs (OSAP: 2, 4264-5), and situated on a rise of the S bank of a SE-NW section of the River Suck, which is immediately to the NE. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims c. 20m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.25m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; D 0.15m) NE-S-SW. It is cut by the river at N and by a NNE-SSW field wall at W. There is no identifiable original entrance.
