On a slight N-facing slope. D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (dims 47.9m NNE-SSW; 26.8m WNW-ESE) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 4.1-7.1m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 0.35-0.7m) SW-N-NE, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.3m) SW-WNW. A NNE-SSW field wall and townland boundary with Scardaun truncates the monument at E, and no feature is visible to E of this boundary.
