On a slight S-facing slope. Visible as a circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by an earthen bank NW-SE separated by a fosse from an outer bank and outer fosse (max. ext. diam. c. 100m) on aerial photograph (CUCAP: BDK 71), and described as a circular area defined by two earthen banks and fosses (Gannon 1972). It is not visible at ground level in pasture, although the cropmark of an enclosure with two defining parched features representing banks can be seen on the OSI aerial images (2005, 2010). The rath (RO041-016----) is c. 10m to the E.
