Marked as a pond with an island on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a low-lying landscape, c. 300m NW of what was Kilteevan House. Grass-covered area (diam. 15m) defined by a scarp (H 0.25-0.4m), with a fosse (Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.05m) SW-NW. Four meters to the S is a circular grass-covered mound (diam. 7.5m; H 0.35-0.4m), with slight traces of a fosse (Wth of base 1.4m; ext. D 0.05-0.1m) at W. They are probably tree-rings.
