What is recorded here

In a low-lying, level landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 32.7m NW-SE; 27.7m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m) with some bushes and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.2m; Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.2m) SSE-W, and by an earthen bank (Wth of base 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m) ENE-ESE. The perimeter can scarcely be traced elsewhere, being occupied by the enclosure of the mass-rock (RO040-034003) at NW. There is no identifiable original entrance, but there is a rectangular annexe (RO040-034002-) (dims 8-9m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) defined by a slight scarp (H 02-0.5m) and traces of a bank at the E end of the NW side (L 12.4m) attached to the NW.
