At the crest of a slight S-facing slope. Oval grass and fern-covered area (dims 62m E-W; 53m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.9m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 2m) S-SW and a complete U-shaped fosse (Wth of base 2-2.7m; int. D 0.7m at E to 1.4m at N; ext. D 1.2-1.8m) with an outer field bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.5m) and hedge. There is a causeway (Wth 5m) and entrance through the field bank at ENE.
