In a low-lying landscape near the junction of two streams. The well known as Tobernagreaghta was famous in the 19th century for curing wounds according to J. O'Donovan in 1837 (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 1, 53). It is thought to be the original site of St Bridget's Well of Cloonmurly (RO040-017----), c. 65m to the E, which moved when it was desecrated by an unbeliever, Robert Ormsby. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Patterns were held at night between Aug. 15th and Sep. 9th. (Ryan, 1997, 222)
