On a rise in a low-lying landscape. Subrectangular or D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 38.5m NNE-SSW; 38.4m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 1m) SW-W-NE, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.2m; D 0.3m) SW-W-NE, visible as a band of lush vegetation (Wth 1.8-2m) NW-NE. The enclosure is truncated by a NNE-SSW field bank and drain at E and cut back by a low quarry (H 0.5m) at S. There is no identifiable original entrance.
