What is recorded here

A small stone (Wth c. 0.44m; H c. 0.33m) with a carving of two entwined beasts is set in the coping around the O’Conor tomb (RO039-055003-) at Roscommon abbey (RO039-055001-). They are probably intended as deer as they appear to have antlers. (Siggins 1994) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 25 June, 2015
