An effigy (RO039-055004-), said to be that of Felimid O'Conor and made c. 1290-1300, is in the niche of a wall monument with a re-built arch in the N chancel wall of the Dominical friary (RO039-055001-). The effigy is resting on the side-panels of a 15th century tomb with eight warriors (O'Gorman 1866; Taylor 1892-4a; Fitzgerald 1892-4; 1900; Hunt 1974, No. 213). A fragment of another tomb (RO039-055006-) is now missing. See the attached view of the 15th century tomb surround Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 8 December 2011
