At the crest of a SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39.3m E-W; 36.9m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.1-4.5m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.3-0.8m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2-1.2m) N-ESE, and SSE-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. A D-shaped enclosure or annexe (RO039-052002-) (dims 33-40m E-W; c. 70m N-S) is attached to the SW with a house site (RO039-052003-) (int. dims 13.7m NE-SE; 11.6m NW-SE) defined by grass-covered earth and stone banks (Wth 2m; H 0.1-0.5m) at its centre. Two field banks run S from the annexe to a NW-SE stream separating the monument from concentric enclosure (RO039-051001-).
