At the crest of the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Described as a circular area (diam. 37m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 1.8m; int. H c. 0.6m; ext. H c. 1.2m) with no visible fosse or entrance (Knox 1915, 297). It is not visible now at ground level in pasture. Rath site (RO039-034001-) is c. 10m to the SE.
