In a low-lying landscape. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 34.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4-4.8m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.55-0.85m) which does not survive S-WSW, and a rounded fosse (at W: Wth of top 5.6m; Wth of base 1.4m; D 0.25m) WSW-N. There is an entrance (Wth 1.4m), probably not original, at NNW, and a relict N-S field bank overlies the interior.
