At the W edge of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 31.1m N-S; 29.3m E-W) sloping down to the E, defined by a scarp (H 0.35m at E to 1.25m at W). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but the monument is overlain by an E-W field bank towards the perimeter at N. The entrance to souterrain (RO039-006002-) is inside the perimeter at NW and the entrance to souterrain (RO039-00603-) is inside the perimeter at SW.
