On a gentle SW-facing slope of a low N-S ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38m N-S; 35.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (at S: Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1m; at N: Wth 8.1m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.8m) separated by a fosse (at S: Wth of top 7.3m; Wth of base 3.1m; D 0.25m; at N: Wth of top 11.8m; Wth of base 4.1m; D 0.4m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.1-4.5m; H 0.15-0.55m) which is missing ENE-SSE (max. ext. dims 60.8m N-S; 58.4m E-W). There is an entrance (Wth 2.8m) through both banks and a causeway (Wth 5m) at S. Rath (RO038-025----) is c. 200m to the W.
