On the crest of a NW-SE ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 25m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.25m) NNE-S-NW, which has been quarried elsewhere, and a complete outer fosse (Wth of base 3m; D 0.1-0.5m). There is an outer bank (Wth 2.7m; ext. H 0.55m) or field bank S-NW, but there is no identifiable original entrance. Raths (RO038-017----), (RO038-016----) and (RO038-019----) are c. 180m to the WNW, c. 200m to the NW and c. 150m to the SE respectively.
