At the crest of the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims c. 23.2m E-W; 19.7m N-S) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 9.8-10.2m; Wth of base 5.7-8m; int. D 1-1.4m; ext. D 1.2-1.6m) and an outer scrub-covered bank (Wth 3-4m; ext. H 0.7-1m) N-SE. The perimeter is defined elsewhere by an overgrown NNE-SSW field bank at W and an overgrown WNW-ESE field bank at S. There is no identifiable original entrance, but a ramp of material (Wth 2.5m; L 3.5m) attached to the interior at SE suggests that the edge of the interior has been quarried. Raths (RO038-016----) and (RO038-018----) are c. 140m to the NE and c. 180m to the ESE respectively.
