Marked only on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of a W-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. This is an irregularly-shaped grass and thistle-covered area (dims 35.5m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by a fosse or quarry (Wth of top 6.2-8.3m; Wth of base 2.2-3.6m; int. D 0.25-0.8m; ext. D 0.2-0.6m) E-W-NNE, which has a very irregular inner edge because of quarrying. The perimeter is missing elsewhere, and the interior is bisected by a WNW-ESE field bank and drain.
